BACKGROUND
The Bonfiglioli range of industrial gearboxes and geared motors has been successfully marketed in Southern Africa for twenty years. In 1991 the group made the decision to establish an operation in South Africa in order to focus technical, marketing and administrational resources and enable us to offer a better backup to our customers. The local operation has enjoyed considerable growth, placing us in the position of a leading supplier of these products in Southern Africa. In addition to the establishment of three full distribution and service centres in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, the company has established a comprehensive technical department which enables it to offer solutions to a broad spectrum of power transmissions problems.We have earned respect in many areas of the South African industry which include conveyors, bakery, packaging, pharmaceuticals, security and water treatment, to name but a few. Of considerable interest is the success we have achieved in heavier industrial applications particularly in the mining industry with our unique range of planetary gearboxes.

Our manufactured products are produced in accordance with an ISO9001 quality assurance program which covers the design, development manufacture and after sales service of all our gearboxes, gearedmotors and variable speed drives.
